Ever since I can remember, I have been an avid player. Growing up, games were still primarily a source of fun and relaxation for me, but even then, they helped me learn English as my second language. In college, I started using every opportunity in my design major to incorporate game elements into my projects. This attitude led me to my first job as a gamification designer for a corporate training company. I have pursued this passion because I believe that games have the potential to reveal a person's true potential by providing an engaging, fun, and safe environment for learning and skill development. I am now finishing a post-graduate certification in Interactive Media Management to hone my skills in User Experience Design and allow me to impact even more people by designing engaging and fun user experiences, with this empowering environment that gamification and games can provide.
